Our github account is pretty unpopular. Let's vote again regarding our management tool.

Let's vote again!

Questions

  • Will we keep github or transition to other tool(s)?
  • Will we keep English or transition to Greek?
  • Will we establish markdown as our universal document format?

Github

I prefer github over other tools mainly because we can combine in one service three solutions:

  • Management (users, issues, labels, Milestones)
  • Tracking (Issues, projects)
  • Documentation
  • Integration with everything

English

I prefer English since this is a publicly available.

Markdown

Markdown is convenient and can be parsed by many tools. That means that we can integrate it to static site generators and other parsers.

Github

As programmers, everyone should be familiar with a git platform. It also allows us to combine management with documentation

Greek

Easier and more natural. Also English doesn't have a translation for Meraki or Filotimo.

Markdown

It's flexed out and convenient

Hello,

GitHub

I will agree with @dpliakos and @joj0s views.

English

Is a very useful language (tool) for a Computer engineer/science. If you use English in the SB's GitHub anyone will make a practice to his English skills. Win-Win situation I think.

Markdown

It 's very useful and easy to use. Thumbs up.
