Requirements:

Node and NPM (specifically, the versions in the package.json file. Use https://github.com/creationix/nvm, or visit https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Installing-Node.js-via-package-manager and/or https://github.com/visionmedia/n to install specific versions of node)
Mongodb (http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/installation/)

git clone [email protected]:hyperstudio/MIT-Annotation-Data-Store.git annotation-data-store
cd annotation-data-store
sudo npm install
Update sample.env and move it to .env
foreman start
