js will be stopped in background (Ref: facebook/react-native#10046 & https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51476104/websocket-closed-after-the-app-is-in-background-for-more-than-10-minutes-react)

Instead, to enable notifications we should use react-native-push-notification https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-push-notification

Created a new issue to enable notifications #5, closing this one.
