A user who goes by the name Orjan reported via Telegram:

I got notification about incoming call which was impossible as WA Web did not support calling. I checked with the contact who "sent it" — they said they did not call me but they deleted wrongly sent photo and resent the correct one! I guess you agree it's kinda weird behaviour.
