A frame from the recording: On closer inspection, it seems that my finger slipped at 08:35:08 whilst repeatedly struggling to resize the window. There's what appears to be an unintended click on the Close option. There remains the question of why things could not be launched. Let's assume that the cause preceded my unintended closure of the QTerminal window.
