No beacon activity after new location assert

I changed the location of my hotspot Fancy Porcelain Toad a week back. As soon as I turned it on and connected it to the internet, it sent out a beacon.
After that I made a new location assert. Since the new location assert, it is not sending any beacon. It has now been a week that my hotspot is like this. I was expecting it to send beacon every 6 hours on average irrespective of whether they get valid or not.
