🥳 🥳 🥳

hedronvision/bazel-compile-commands-extractor has reached 400 stars!

As I mentioned in #39 a little over a year ago (when we hit 100), this repository has thrived thanks to the industrious labor of tremendous author and maintainer @cpsauer. Since then, he's resolved 55 issues and merged or adapted 20 PRs, all while discussing and developing ideas in hundreds of comments (in this repo alone!).

Many of you have interacted with Chris over the past several months, and his dedication to this tool shows in his engagement with you, its users, and his attention to your needs. As a result, the adoption and support of the community have been astounding! Here's a snapshot so far.

Star History @ 400

If you appreciate this tool or use it frequently, leave a message about what you're working on and why it's useful to you, or just leave Chris a note of support! We love to hear what about you are building.

As usual, Chris is much too modest to start an appreciation thread for his hard work and wonderful outcome – so that's my role.

Let's make it to 500!

<3 Sam

P.S. If you're reading this, please remember to update to the latest version for the newest features, and/or set up Renovate to automatically stay up-to-date! (see the README for instructions)

:) Thanks so much for celebrating the milestone, Sam.

As with last year, huge thanks to all of you that have spent time with this tool--and much appreciation to those who've helped make it better with issues and code. Great work, all. We've really gotten this rolling.

Happy coding!
Chris

P.S. For those interested in star growth, GitHub repos are surprisingly linear. Here's a blog post I read about it--I'm curious if anyone has other theories about why! https://matt-rickard.com/linear-github-star-growth
