We may not need to store some of this I suppose, we can also read the latest cabal file on the fly for some info.

Additionally we can do some sanity checking on the cabal files

is the cabal-version too high?
no maintainer?
no github link?
no source repository?
no README/CHANGELOG in extra-source-files?
