An easy way to see uncategorized packages #161
Comments
Hello; To facilitate this, there are reports in the system;
Here you will find the possibility of producing reports covering categories, screenshot-coverage, icon-coverage etc... If this covers your needs, could you close this ticket. |
Click on "Refresh" until you see a download link. Sorry not the best UI, but it works. |
That worked, however this is not really what I'd like. I wanted a table of packages which would show which uncategorised ones, where you can simply click a package and set a category (or add screenshot, icon). |
OK, maybe one for the future. In the meantime, you are also able to edit those spreadsheets and give them to somebody with root access and they can re-load them into the system to perform a bulk update of categories. It is also possible to download a "tar ball" of icons or screenshots. You can then edit that tar-ball and provide it to somebody with root access and they can bulk-load icons and spreadsheets as well. This may help you in the meantime. |
Currently many packages lack category info and it's a chor to manually go through a huge list to see id there is a category or not. Selecting category could also be made easier, i.e. without opening a sepatate page. Popup window maybe?
Finding packages without screenshots is also difficult.
