  • Bonnie asks:
    • Bonnie would like us to coordinate PM/Engineers on projects to do quick pitches at Onboarding sessions, just two at a time.
  • AI: Ask PMs to update the Engineering open roles board, and let them know we are planning to bring them into onboarding pitches
  • Next meeting, discuss writing program to manage Google drive permissions. Right now, everyone added to a drive is automatically assigned "Content Manager" when they should be "Contributor".
    • Need clarification from Bonnie, is this a program to change the initial behavior of adding people? Or a one-time use program to reassign everybody as "Contributor" so we can change setting for only a few people?
  • Bonnie shared the onboarding survey results with us.

  • Questions/requests for Bonnie @ExperimentsInHonesty:
    • What is Develop a method of deploying Docusaurus #36?
    • Please remove Humaira from the Engineering 1 Password
    • Do new HfLA volunteers fill out a survey when they join? What do we ask them and can we see the responses?
    • Do we need to create a shared folder for the Engineering Drive? Right now the folder is not on a shared drive and is not owned by the Engineering gmail account. If I go into the drive from the account I have no edit access. The managers listed are:

  • Alejandro will be traveling the next few weeks and unable to attend
  • Harrison had last minute work things come up
  • Reviewed engineer feedback data
  • reviewed current readme and it looks ok for now
  • We might want to look into building experience profiles, ex. from ux
  • We have no wiki!

  • Ask PMs to update their Engineering Open Position postings
  • Create issue to coordinate PM/Engineer pitches to Sr. Engineers at Onboarding
    • Just two pitches per meeting
    • Need to check in with Bonnie about requirements, how long the pitches need to be, etc.
  • Create issue to create a program that will go through Google drive share privileges and assign everyone as "Contributor"
  • Create issue to start developing wiki

  • Read through the SDGs and make notes on which we do or could align with.
