Overview

Cards are surfaces that display content and actions on a single topic. They should be easy to scan for relevant and actionable information. Elements, like text and images, should be placed on them in a way that clearly indicates hierarchy.

Background

This project is heavily reliant on the Atomic Design process. As explained by the HfLA Design System Guide for Designers, it is the simplest way to go through all the possible steps that are required for this component part.

You can also get information from the MUI website - Card.

Action Items

Card can include the following (but feel free to add more as you research):

  • Basic card
  • Expandable card
  • Card with image
  • Card with action
