On the other hand, maybe @jmakeig knows more about where that file comes from, and if there is an even better source to generate ts definitions out of..

@kcoleman-marklogic and @clockworked247 drove this implementation. At some point, I’d like to explore if/how we could use this same type of process to generate TypeScript definitions (so you don’t have to).

The scripts for QConsole don't have to be as strict as for TypeScript. I'd encourage them to look at our code. I also had a look at theirs, but it is not so easy to determine if there are parts of it that would be reusable here..

Pushing it away for the time being, I managed to get things working with 9.0-5 docs, I think..
