Access other users recording in Community Edition #43668
-
I couldn't find anywhere in the docs saying this isn't possible so I don't know if this is a policy issue or a Community Edition issue.. Each user can see their own recordings but the user with the out-of-the-box "auditor" role cannot also see other user's recordings in the Web UI as I would expect. They are being stored in S3 if it matters and I can see my own, just not not others. Users can see the full audit log. Is Community Edition really this crippled or am I missing something? |

Figured it out.. The "access" role by default has the "where" clause and this doesn't get overridden by the "auditor" role not having it so I removed the session resource from "access" and added two new roles for "read-own-sessions" and "read-all-sessions" and assigned those as appropriate. |
