kramdown - Unable to parse correctly multiple '$$' in one line

When using kramdown, $$K$$ $$E_1$$ $$E_2$$ ... $$E_K$$ is parsed as K

This is my code:

I found this problem when lines start with '$$'.
This problem can be solved by inserting a non-whitespace character at the beginning of a line.

I'm sure it's a bug.
