Hierarchy extraction is done via Verilog-Perl vhier.

Installation

For Ubuntu/Debian:

sudo apt-get install libverilog-perl

Others: https://github.com/veripool/verilog-perl#installation

Provided functions:

verilog-ext-vhier-current-file for hierarchy extraction
vhier-outshine-mode for hierarchy navigation
