Build a Postiz WordPress plugin

I believe a benchmark for Postiz should be Hootsuite. It is arguably one of the top social media management suites.

Hootsuite has a capable WordPress plugin for creating integration between posts and triggers to social media scheduling and management.

A number of other social media management tools have WordPress plugins such as Blog2social.

The nextscript Snap plugin was at the other end of the spectrum where all functionality exists in he plugin as opposed to the plugin acting as a gateway to a social media platform.

For Postiz, the pkugin should allow the trigger of a post to the Postiz platform based on a set of filters - WordPress categories, tags etc.

It could pass on data to postiz for the processing of logic in postiz or this could be within the plugin environment merely passing o a set of posting instructions to postiz, e.g. Which social media platform and the post content.

🎤 Why is this feature needed ?

With such a plugin the is a large manual load to copy over WordPress content to the postiz environment.

The Hootsuite, blog2social plugins offer a rich specification and benchmark for Postiz
