Decentralised Market:Enabling Access to the Main Economy for remote areas in Africa #23
Comments
Hi @Brianspha i got the same idea for a decentralized finance for Africa. Let me know if your are interested.. |
Awesome idea. |
Sure, but the problem statement to your idea is slightly different, I'm trying to take a different approach instead of focusing on the financial aspect I'm focusing more on the tokenizations of resources that the communities have, I'm not sure where we could merge the 2 ideas, @papealioune |
@owans I send you text on Discord.. |
If you want the tokenizations of ressources you need an exchange and this exchange need a token and that's where our ideas can merge.. |
Cool whats the way forward?? @papealioune |
Starting from the fact that we want to decentralize an economy through the web 3.0 for the African population, we must first offer them a way to be able to buy cryto-assets that will be the representation of the resources of these populations and to be able to change these assets with other assets in the Ethereum ecosystem. |
Now if you agree we can merge the projects and you create a chanel on discord so that others can join our team.. |
Jah we can merge the ideas @papealioune |
okey so you can chose the name of the project and create a channel on discord then let me know.. |
Okey i saw the channel.. |

Project Idea
The idea is to create a platform that allows remote communities to connect to the main economy without the interference of any 3rd party, in a way we want to create decentralized economies that can trade their assets in the form of tokens (be it cows, sheep, or a plot of land)
Seeing as we are in the Context of Africa accessibility of the internet might be an issue however most people in Africa or South Africa use WhatsApp according to Statistics South Africa about 48% if the population uses WhatsApp this could a way to enable access to the platform
