Perhaps column name:value, where column name would need to be quoted if it contains spaces.

Also, column name:[value1,value2] for either of a set of values. This would allow UI to select a value in the display to filter to just those values. Further, if we collect the possible values, we could show categoric filters in the column headers for columns with limited values.

Maybe eventually column_name:<number with various operators for numerical filters.
