Description:

This feature request proposes a seamless integration between Cursor and Gitpod workspaces, allowing users to directly launch Cursor within a Gitpod environment from the Cursor platform. This integration would streamline development workflows and provide a smoother user experience for developers who utilize both platforms.

Motivation:

Developers leveraging both Cursor and Gitpod often switch between environments, which can be disruptive to their workflow.
A direct integration would eliminate the need for manual configuration and setup, reducing friction and accelerating development cycles.
By leveraging Gitpod's pre-configured development environments, Cursor users could instantly access their projects with all dependencies and tools ready-to-use.

Benefits:

Improved Workflow: Eliminate manual configuration and context switching, streamlining the development process.
Enhanced Developer Experience: Offer a more seamless and integrated experience for users of both platforms.
Increased Adoption: Encourage wider adoption of both Cursor and Gitpod by showcasing their combined value proposition.
