Add some graphics bling bling or something to make it look good.

No specific reason. Just that it might surprise someone to find a pretty looking contributing guide.

Got better ideas? Please share.

Well, I'm kinda bad at the design part but see if you can follow either the "fluent design" pattern by MS or make it kinda modern/minimalistic. Kinda like Apple does.
