2.2.2: 10/20 RC, Full Release 11/10

Release Name: Great Bear

The Great Bear Lake is the largest lake entirely in Canada the fourth largest in North America, and the eighth largest in the world.The lake is in the Northwest Territories, on the Arctic Circle between 65 and 67 degrees of northern latitude and between 118 and 123 degrees western longitude, 156 m (512 ft) above sea level.

The name originated from the words "Satudene" in Denesuline meaning “grizzly bear water people.” The Sahtu Dene people are named after the lake. Grizzly Bear Mountain on the shore of the lake also comes from Denesuline, meaning, “bear large hill.”

Narrative: Optimize for Gmail and button stability.

Left To Do:

  1. Reduce button issues by 50%.
  2. Minify and optimize the CSS to test with Gmail.
  3. QA for Release

2.2.3 November(tentative)

Narrative: We'll be creating an overall lighter install by optimizing dependencies and moving to a tree-based parser. We'll also be improving the usability for the docs and more bug cushing.

Agenda:

  1. Audit the overall node_modules dependencies.
  2. Eliminate the unnecessary dependencies and test.
  3. Transition to a lighter tree-based parser and away from Cheerio.
  4. Knock issues down to 70.
  5. Add larger support to image hosting that isn’t strictly AWS.
  6. Rework the Docs to do a better job of tailoring to both web guys and the strictly email guys.

2.3.0: End of November(tentative)

Narrative: Sending emails via command line and more API integrations. Inliner issues resolved.

Agenda:

  1. Send a template up to Campaign Monitor and other CMS's.
  2. Send a test email via command line.
  3. Inliner issues are down to under 10.

2.4.0 Considerations

Narrative: Creating custom components - for all variations of Inky.

Agenda:

  1. Custom component creation that is language agnostic and understands css/scss
