Feature Summary

I want to delete all saved passwords at once. Recently, I thought about the security risk of having saved passwords on my phone. Currently, I can only delete the saved passwords one by one, which is inconvenient for dozens of passwords. I'd like the option to remove all saved passwords at once. I know it's a debate between convenience and security, but personally I'd like this option.

Feature Research

This user problem exists because I couldn't find a way to remove all passwords at once in Settings>Passwords>Saved Passwords.

It is important for people who want to change to a a strict(er) threat model and do so by removing the passwords from memory in case of malware, people stealing the phone, domestic abuse, ...

Alternative Solution

Other possible solutions could be :

  • Encrypt the passwords when auto-filling is deactivated, to ensure they're safe
  • Add a master password
  • Select more than one passwords to mark them for deletion

Target beneficiaries

People with strict threat model or not able to keep the phone secure at all time.
