Cannot Find Microsoft Kids #46
Comments
TLDR: Extract the Microsoft Kids folder from the releases version and it should then work. Original message below: Did you extract the Microsoft Kids directory from the download? If not, 3DMM can't find the game data (stored in the Microsoft Kids directory) and to fix this, simply extract that directory from the download. Hope this helps. PS. Directory = Folder I just found out, The GH Actions build doesn't include the Microsoft Kids directory, you can grab the directory from the Releases section (do note, that release also contains it's own version of 3dmovie.exe, make sure not to extract that file, only the Microsoft Kids directory). Please get back to me with the results since I love helping people out with problems like this one. |
Hi! @UnBeatWaterGH i can't find the Microsoft Kids directory content, you can send me any link? Thans |
Extract the "Microsoft Kids" dir from this zip file (Which can be found here) (make sure to not grab the 3dmovie.exe from the linked zip!) |
You can also grab it from your 3DMM CD. |
Huh, I've tried it, but I couldn't get it to work either. A temporary fix could be to just use all the files from the linked zip. |
@UnBeatWaterGH Thanks for the help, I was finally able to run 3DMM. |
