If i try to drag and drop a sprite, mp3 or anything else into the project window, I get
Error: Failed copying file unity/external to Assets/Sprites/external
OS: Fedora Linux 38 (Workstation Edition) x86_64
Kernel: 6.3.11-200.fc38.x86_64
Resolution: 2880x1800
DE: GNOME 44.2 (wayland)
CPU: 11th Gen Intel i5-1135G7 (8) @ 4.2GHz
GPU: Intel TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]
Memory: 7.52 GiB

Unity + VScode were both downloaded as flatpaks. No permissions were changed for either using flatseal or console

I experience the same issue. AMD KDE Plasma Arch Wayland.
As a workaround, if the file browser that I drag files in from has been launched in Xwayland mode, Unity will accept the file as it should.

This does fix my issue on my end, also on AMD KDE Plasma Wayland but Fedora.
