Persistent playback notification?

One request:

Could you make the player notification persistent?

For me it keeps disappearing after a while when I stop playback which makes resuming more difficult.

What kind of "while" are we talking about here? And isn't this happening for other apps, too?

As far as I know this is a standard. I'm running a foreground service during playback and stopping it when playback is paused or stopped. At that point I leave it up to the OS to decide how long the notification is kept and the app stays active and at what point the resources are needed elsewhere.

For me usually it takes hours until the notification disappears (depending on how much other work my phone is doing). And I do think the same applies to apps like Spotify or Audible.
