In plunkr editor on linux chrome (53 and 54 versions) there is strange cursor padding.
E.g. a string:

abcdefgh

If i place cursor to the end of this string it will be:

abcdefgh |

Instead of:

abcdefgh|

Another example, we have cursor positioned like:

abcdefghijklmnop|

And if I press backspace it will delete j symbol instead of p.

May be it some kind of fonts or rendering bug, but I haven't experienced such issue on any other website.

PS: it's retina display and chrome device scale factor is set to 1.6.

Happens on: Chrome Version 56.0.2924.76 (64-bit) on Linux (CentOS 6.8).
Doesn't happen on Firefox on the same machine.
Doesn't happen on same Chrome version on Windows.
