Editor formatting issues when LLM adds a line break into the generated text

This issue happens when the LLM adds a line break in the response like this (the response is the whole blue text):

When I press the space bar (notice that my cursor is at the end of the generated text), the line break "disappears" and the last paragraph jumps up and gets coloured as "user written text".
