Hello @jengajenga,
maybe you have notice, that I'm rebuilding all the ffplayout tools. The engine and the API I have done and yes the API has now a function to generate automatically a playlist.
The frontend I will rewrite to, but until now I have not decide which framework I will use. I tend to a rust base wasm solution. Close behind comes svelte. But both take time, and on top I need a bit a break from coding.
Maybe I will make a step between and modify the current frontend, but then I can not guarantee that it will have all features, which are now supported by the API.
I have noticed you have done a lot with it. I am still keeping an eye on it because I really want to make use of it for some clients of mine. I would suggest svelte but also wasm isn't bad either.
I'll be installing it later today to try it out again.

Hello @jb-alvarado
Is it possible to add a button on the front end to run this script? That way, a user just clicks "Generate Playlist" and the playlist is made?
Thank you
