Increasing Code coverage

Would like to help improving this component, but test coverage seems rather low, compared with other components of the Fastify ecosystem.

• Are there technical constraints preventing us from increasing it?
• Is there any point in trying to increase it?

If it's possible and useful, I think I should start there.

No, but testing CLIs is sometimes painful and cumbersome.
