The main problem:
It can be hard and time-consuming for people to know what, how and where to recycle.

Some reasons why this is the case:

  • Not everyone lives in places where they have ready-made recycling bins or easily collect recycling.

  • What you can actually recycle can change not only city from city but actually within the city from borough to borough.

  • People often are also unsure where the nearest recycling bins are for each different type of items they may need to recycle and where to get things such as recycling bags

This all makes recycling tricky...

More than three quarters, 78%, of people are confused by local Council recycling, according to our nationwide survey.

And this can lead to people under-recycling...

This all leads to England in particular not being great at recycling

So the challenge!
Find a way to better disseminate the required information for people in an easily digestible & fun way to make it quick and easy to recycle :)

I really like this idea and it'd be great if the currently chaotic information on recycling could become more accessible and reliable.
