I know that this is a long shot to connect with someone because there seems to not be any postings since 2016, but I am desperate to try. I am a noobie developing phone apps ( java and html) and I was thrilled to find Evothings and the RFduino example. It has helped a lot in the understanding but still I lack.
What I am looking for is the ability to press a button on the smart device and for that action to make the phone app react. I found an example of just that in Youtube called RFduino evoRGBv3 where a button was pressed on the device which invoked a reaction on the screen of the phone to change color. I can't find the code for that example anywhere on the linked location (www.rfduino.com).
Does anyone out there know what java and html code is needed to do this so that I can implement something of that sort?

Okay- so it doesn't have to be specific to RFduino LE but anyone with BLE experience and mobile app development. I think the part I am struggling with is the java script. Any help with that would be fantastic!
