@sbvegan It would be useful if the OP team / community could provide better documentation on the fastest configuration for Syncing and OP node.
There are various flags where the documentation is unclear as to what effect they actually have on Synchronisation speed. For example:
l1.rpckind
I am assuming debug_geth is the fastest option, but this is not stated in any documentation I can find.
l1.rpc-max-batch-size
As this number is increased I would expect that Synchronisation speed improves? How high can it safely be set if running your own L1 node?
Are there any other variables that can be tuned to improve synchronisation speed?
Slow sync's have been an issue with OP for a while, if there aren't major improvements to the code coming soon then I think some simple documentation about how to Sync a node as fast as possible would be a good middle ground. There is no need for node operators to have to experiment and work this out for themselves....
