When a loop is quantized to a sync source the corresponding action will wait, pending the sync point. It woudl be advantageous to be able to toggle the pending state, disabling the pending action, e.g. press record to prime a loop to start recording at end of loop then press the record button again, before the recording begins to stop the recording from starting. This is especially handy if you accidentally trigger an action during a session.
The docs suggest using the undo button but this triggers an undo action which is not the desired behaviour, e.g. it may remove the recorded audio when you undo a pending overdub. Pressing redo can cause the audio to playback out of sync hence this undo/redo operation is suboptimal. Also it is intuitive to press the flashing, pending button to disable it.
