Title. Changing the dampener setting as per pcgamingwiki does nothing as it reverts back. Tried making the file read only still doesn’t work.

Can't remember. Haven't touched this (or played the game) for years.

You will probably need to share a link to the pcgaming article if you want to give some kind soul the opportunity to help you reproduce?
