Sorry for raising a bug for that but I would like to know what is the maintenance status of the library. I started using it recently on a side-project and I observed that it did not get any updates in more than an year.

@erikrose Is it maintained, looking for help, replaces by something better? I tried to find you on irc but I was not able to find the nick (I use either zbr or ssbarnea). Thanks.

I'd be open to a qualified maintainer taking the reins. I don't use it for anything right now and have little time to devote to it.

…lse (erikrose#148)

This test failure indicates to me that windows reads `does_styling` as False in travis, so no URL is emitted, and that's ok for now, since Windows 10 doesn't yet support hyperlinks, microsoft/terminal#204

When it does, I think there is nothing for us to do, I think it works as-is before and after.

FWIW I just switched from colorama to https://github.com/jquast/blessed

@jquast is your fork compatible with what's on PyPI now? (Can you become the maintainer and upload new releases to PyPI?)

I'm wondering if we should move projects away from blessed since there has not been a PyPI release for over two years, or if anyone is interested in maintaining this going forward.

@ktdreyer yes, blessed is API compatible with blessings, from README

Blessed is a fork of blessings, which does all of the same above with the same API, as well as following enhancements

I have commit access to this repository of blessings., but I don't intend to make any commits here. rich is pretty nice by the way, you can mix rich with blessed freely, blessed provides keyboard support if you're into that kind of thing.

Whoops, you're right.
