@jesper-friis: As discussed there should be a concept of Energy beside the concept of Physicalistic/Matter.
Some subclasses of Energy may subclassing Physicalistic/Field (PotentialEnergy, ElectricalEnergy, MagneticEnergy) but others are more related to Physicalistic/Matter (ChemicalEnergy, ThermalEnergy)

@SimonStier. Sorry for not responding to this. Energy is conceptualised as a physical quantity in the isq module. It has several subclasses hopefully meeting your needs.

Hi Simon.
To follow up on this old question. The above answer is about energy as a physical quantity that can be measured. This is what is defined in the ISQ.

But if your ask what energy really is, then the answer is that all individuals in EMMO are (a manifestation of) energy due to the nominalistic nature of EMMO.

Okay, but how can I state that a Process (e.g. chemical reaction) transforms Energy on an abstract (class) level?
