VLCD5 settings not correct

Does the TSDZ2 Parameter Configurator actually modify the VLCD5 display? Compile and Flash appear to complete successfully but on the VLCD5 units show as km/h instead of mph and wheel diameter shows as 26" instead of the 27.5" (2215) selected in the TSDZ2 Parameter Configurator. I can modify these both directly on the VLCD5 but it is then confusing why the configurator is asking for these parameters also.

I'm answering now because I was on break this summer.
The configurator does not modify the firmware of the display, only that of the motor controller.
The choice of km/h or mph must be made both in the configurator and on the display. The display does not send this data to the motor controller, which is why it must also be entered in the configurator.
As regards the speed calculation, only the perimeter of the wheel that you find in the configurator is used.
The diameter of the wheel on the display is irrelevant for the speed, but is used in the calculation of the data to be shown on the display.
Keep in mind that higher values result in better resolution.
