It's still alive at https://github.com/lainsce/notejot but the look & feel is completely different what it used to be in AppCenter. Also it depends on libhelium library that has completely different design from our stylesheet. Maybe we need to fork from its old commit.

This seems to be the last commit when it keeps the old sticky-notes-like appearance:

What would be the ethically correct thing to do, fork the project or build from scratch based on the previous code?

Maybe like this:

  • Create new blank repository, clone Notejot locally, git reset or git revert to the previous code, and push to our new repository
  • Alternatively, fork Notejot, git reset or git revert to the previous code, and push to our forked repository

I was looking at this earlier and already did a revert clone and made a new repo as I need a quick notes app and thought about using this as my first eOS app.

I haven't really started on it yet as life is stealing all of my spoons for other things.
