Steps to reproduce

  1. Using the Element Desktop under flatpak.
  2. try to attach a file in a chat
  3. file chooser dialogue is empty.

Outcome

What did you expect?

To see the files from my files from my file system.

What happened instead?

file chooser is empty.

Additional information:

This bug is also tracked here:

I'm pretty sure this worked as it should not long ago.

This is not a minor bug as it affects core functionality.

Duplicate of the flathub issue you linked, we don't track issues related to community maintained packages.
