  • Electron-Builder Version: 6.3.9
  • Node Version: v22.11.0
  • Electron Version:3.2.1
  • Electron Type (current, beta, nightly):current
  • Target: Any

It is no contest that any program packaged with electron is going to be at leat a 100 MB big, and add it the fact that you may havto install multiple apps, which add up. so this request is to have an option for buliding without bundling for electron, and insted use shared libs. this not only reduces the final app size, it also makes trhe package more freindlier to package on Linx distros aasnd they are not a fan of static libaries and precompiled sources.
