Fix scrolling in the "events" section

As reported by John Coate: "On my Chrome and Firefox the events part of the page only scrolls if I highlight something in the events section and scroll that way."

This probably means "click on an event card, then scrolling works". It's the same for me, but not reproducible every single time. After some attempts, I see that behavior consistently though. Using latest Chrome here.
