3D printing has always been an inclusive technology. The community has always supported opensource technology and helping others through the amazing creations we design and make for solving everyday problems and the unbelievable creativity and freedom that we are able to have.
For this reason, I strongly believe that in order to share this with others and be the supportive and innovative technology that it is, it should be inclusive of all groups.
MastoBot-3D has already implemented a set up rules and a reporting system to protect users using the group on Mastodon, but currently blind and weak-sighted users are being excluded by the lack of alt-text in images posted to the group.
I propose that the functionality should be implemented that a user should be notified if they mention the bot in a top-level post, which would result in it being reblogged if their images do not include alt-text.
