Is it possible to use the X-Dream software on different hardware? #4

That Trixter PC might have been a gaming powerhouse in its day, but my ultra-thin notebook PC with its 2GHz i3 CPU runs rings around it these days and takes up a whole lot less space. Do I have to put up with that bulky PC, and the big metal case, and tiny monitor and stand, all intended for heavy duty public gym usage, in my home? Can I use it like this ? |

Version 3.50.0.3 of the software runs in Windows 10 (see #5) and Ubuntu Linux (see #105, although this hasn't been tested much by the maintainer). The rest of this discussion refers to a Windows 10 installation.

I've had X-Dream running usably on 2 similar types of "stick PC":
However, I don't consider it a good enough user experience:
Recommendation for a replacement PC: at least a 3rd generation Intel Core-i3 CPU. |
