Description

Is there any solution use System.Reflection.Emit on linux

Reproduction Steps

use System.Reflection.Emit write testcode will occue exception

Can you provide any details about the exception? Reflection emit support is irrelevant with OS.

  • What version
  • Did it work before
  • Exceptions \ errors
  • Repro

Closing; emit works on all non-native AOT platforms. Even the mono interpreter can emit and interpret that IL, but won't JIT that. The feature switches RuntimeFeature.IsDynamicCodeSupported and RuntimeFeature.IsDynamicCodeCompiled can be used to check for compat.
