Usability of Macros in Dart/Flutter codegen

This Flutter codegen plugin seems very helpful.

I am curious about how Flutters recent announcement on Macros affects this plugin.

Do the models still need to be "frozen"? How can macros help this functionality? I am particularly interested in generating mock data to use with Testing, which does not seem to exist yet.

I just found out about the Mock class from Mockito. Unsure about this discussions relevance now.
