Dionne (she/her) is in the final stages of completing her PhD in the Genetic Epidemiology of *Plasmodium falciparum* malaria in high burden settings. Aside from the endless curiosity that sparks her joy in research, Dionne is true to her Melbourne-Greek heritage by being a Eurovision connoisseur and a foodie.
