Hi, is there a way to write .taw (Terrain / Obstacle) files?

No - but if you post your services.xml file, I can take a look at supporting them. Run jdmtool login and jdmtool refresh, then (assuming you have Linux) it should be in ~/.local/share/jdmtool/. Just censor your username, email, customer ID, tail number, etc.
