If I see how the display-setting is used, there are only two modes that are interessant. The default one and the night-mode (black mode). This could be realized via a switch.
This could be placed in the settings, but maybe also instead of the fullscreen-icon (I mean in the right corner) if it is shown on a smartphone. So it would be very usefull.
