What is the purpose of the different list types?

"Grid" should probably show a preview image. Table seems to inactive.

As far as I know they are not implemented yet...

Simple list and grid list are already implemented. The table view is not ready yet. Anyway this view is disabled until the user is filtering the search results by the resource class only. Otherwise it wouldn‘t be possible to show the search results in a table view.
