I am aware that your csi tool (and also atheros csi tool) is able to get csi data only from ht rate packets. I don't understand completely why only HT packets come into play. Why these tools cannot get csi from legacy rate packets?
I guess there are some special information in the HT preamble which may not present in legacy preamble. Could somebody confirm this?
